Paypal will send you (the seller) a ‘Payment Notification’ email after the buyer pays for the product which will contain the buyer’s address.
3.) Can the shopping cart be added to a separate checkout page?
Yes.
4.) Does this plugin have multiple currency (example: You can specify the currency you wish to accept) support?
Yes, as long as the currency is a supported PayPal currency. Please see the following list of PayPal supported currencies .

7.) Can I do variations with different prices using the Simple Shopping Cart?
You can only do variations that do not change the price of an item. The following article will explain more about using variations with the Simple Shopping Cart. If you want to use variations that have different prices you will need the eStore for this. The following article will explain more about this.

Simply replace the image located in the “image directory” of the plugin (via FTP).
9.) How do I change the language of the PayPal landing page?
The language is determined by a PayPal cookie in the subscriber’s browser. If there is no PayPal cookie, the default language is U.S. English. “The language you see in your computer/browser doesn’t determine what your customers will see.

I love your shopping cart! Just what I had in mind.
One question: I currently have a Yahoo widget where users can donate to an ongoing effort. When they click the button, it takes them directly to a site where they can either log in to donate or enter their credit card information. I would like to do something similar on this site. Is such a thing possible and if so, how would I go about modifying the code?
TIA,
Mike

Your Simple PayPal Shopping Cart and WordPress Paypal Donation Plugin are both great!
I need to be able to sell merchandise, with sizes and colors as well as take donations with amounts up to the users.
Is it possible to use both?
Thanks so much!

Mrs. Sophie, The PayPal Simple Shopping Cart will not allow you to do donations within the cart. But you can run both plugins at the same time. You can use the Paypal simple shopping cart to process your merchandise transactions and the donation plugin to handle the donation side.

Is it possible to eliminate the “visit the shop” link when the shopping cart is empty without eliminating the “Your shopping cart is empty” text? I’d like to do this when the user is already on the shop page. Thanks.

The easiest is to leave the “Products URL” field empty.

What about book keeping purposes, is there a file that could be downloaded and used for that?
May 14th, 2010 at 12:32 am
Hi Jeanette, With the simple shopping cart you will need to get this information from PayPal. This feature is only available in the eStore. With the eStore you can download a file that tells you what you sold, how many you sold, the amount, and your total for the month.
Let me know if you have anymore questions.
Cheers,
Ivy

Does the Simple WP Shopping Cart support different return URLs once payment is made through PayPal? Thank you

Hi, The simple shopping cart does not have this feature. The eStore does have this feature but it can only be used with “Buy Now” buttons.

Hello,
Everything has been set up nicely on my website with this plugin, the only question I have is after a customer purchases an item… where does all of this go? Do I need to link the plugin to a paypal account? I’m having trouble figuring that out if I do… Newbie here, sorry!

How do I keep the Thank You page from showing up in my menu on wordpress?
October 10th, 2010 at 1:02 am
Hi Linda, The best way to do this is to use the “Exclude Page Plugin”, This allows you to exclude pages from your nav bar (Menu).

Hi there
if i wanted to but the estore, which i do. would there be any easy way to switch from simple wp shopping cart or would i have to change the code for 600 products?
October 21st, 2010 at 4:23 am
Hi April, Unfortunately you would need to configure each product again. The eStore and Simple Shopping Cart use different shortcodes and the internal structure of the plugins work differently. For example the Simple Shopping Cart does not use the database to store product information whereas the eStore does.

Hi Ivy, I was just wondering: do you have any instructions on customizing the “add to cart” button? I see that your FAQ says it’s possible but I haven’t been able to find instructions yet.
Thanks,
Tony

Hi, All you need to do is upload the image to the “image directory” of the plugin (via FTP) and make sure you rename it the same as the image you want to replace.
