Hello,

My developer and I have set up my site exactly as described, but are facing a pretty serious problem once members have paid via Paypal.

After a customer has made their payment, they are not redirected to a page where they can set up their account, nor do they receive any emails with a link for them to confirm/set up their account.

My developer and I have looked everything over 3 times and it all appears to be perfect on our end.

Your help would be very appreciated.

Thanks

PayPal doesn't take 0 or negative number as the item price. You can try using the manual checkout.

Why would the customer need to checkout an item for negative amount though? Can't you just send this early registrars to a form where they can just signup?

I've got a line item that's a discount (for submitting an early registration) that is a negative number. Paypal is not wanting to pass the dash (-) or the negative amount. What kind of work around is there for a discount line item? I've got two...One for registering early. One for being a member. Is there a different way?

You can use "add to cart" button on a page or post as long as you are using the correct shortcode for showing the gallery. You are integrating simple shopping cart with nextgen gallery plugin as NGG plugin doesn't have payment gateway option. So any customization you want to do with image or thumbnail, you need to do with nextgen gallery plugin.

OK so I can only use 'add to' on a page. Is there a way I can show a thumbnail link on a parent page to a page of images?

You are not using the right shortcode on this page. You need to use the following shortcode to show gallery on this page-

[nggallery id=2 template=wp-eStore]

Whenever you want to integrate nextgen gallery plugin with simple shopping cart plugin you can only use the shortcode in the following format where the "gallery ID" changes.

[nggallery id=[gallery ID] template=wp-eStore]

Does it make sense?

Hi Have added to images on http://www.ascimages.com/?page_id=276&album=2&gallery=37

Button shows but is above thumbnails and still not work. These are galleries within an album, does that make any difference?

Regards

Hi

Have just changed that and all seems OK. I will try it on my other galleries later on. Very many thanks.

I just checked your gallery settings and the page here - http://www.ascimages.com/?page_id=222

Your page looks fine. I didn't see any grey box with a small red x with 'Add to Cart' in words. But you do have another problem though. In the "Add to Cart button text or Image" field under the simple paypal shopping cart settings you have specified the URL as-

http://public_html/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/view/add_to_cart_button.png

You can't put button image URL like this in the settings which is leading to a 404 error. You need to use your button image URL like the following-

http://www.ascimages.com/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/view/add_to_cart_button.png

I think that was causing you the problem. Let me know how it goes
