How can I limit the number of "add to cart" to 5 itmes per IP or per visit? Means after people add 5 items to their cart, it gives a message saying they should visit again(in 24 hours or their cart is full for that day, something like that). I have already set up the manual system and delivery(with encrypted link to digital products, as well as email to customer with the links) works. But I need to limit the orders to 5 product per IP or per visit. Any suggestion?

Hi Support
Having the same problem as others in the past I cannot get the cart to empty after a successful sale is made? I have followed all the recommendations and help given in the posts on this forum but still cannot get the cart to empty. This is such a good plugin and everything else is working so well it is spoiling what would be an excellent software. I have already purchased your wp-emember and find it excellent. Please lets find the answer to the shopping cart problem....
Many thanks in advance

Hello!
I'm using WP Simple Shopping Cart with the "Add to cart button" in the template (<?php echo print_wp_cart_button_for_product('PRODUCT-NAME', 'PRODUCT-PRICE'); ?>).
Is there the possibility to add variation control as in the triggered mode ([wp_cart:PRODUCT-NAME:price:PRODUCT-PRICE:var1[VARIATION-NAME|VARIATION1|VARIATION2|VARIATION3]:end])?

Hi

I am using WP Simple Paypal Shopping cart version 2.2 and It is working very well selling in USD. I would like to add further buttons, either on the same page or a different page within the same domain, to accept payments in different currencies. I do not need the prices updating with the currency exchange rates I would be quite happy to set the prices myself and change them as required.

I am aware that Paypal converts the currancy and have made my buyers aware of this but I feel it puts people off when they see an item they want in a different currency from their own. If this is availiable as part of another package please point me towards that as I must have missed it, I see the WP estore package includes 'multiple currency support' but I imagine this means only one currency at a time.

Thanks

This is kind of an advanced question about how you would write your template cart button function call when the information about the product and price is contained and managed in WordPress using a Custom Field Template plugin's write screen (these are still just custom field meta data) but the CFT makes it far easier for the end user to manage the content of the site.

For example, your function is called with:
<?php echo print_wp_cart_button_for_product('PRODUCT-NAME', PRODUCT-PRICE); ?>

and to get the info for the name and price via my template, I use the following:

<?php echo c2c_get_custom('MMTname'); ?> or <?php echo c2c_get_custom('MMTprice'); ?>

How can I combine these functions?

I'm generally okay with writing echo statements that write out content and call a function, like

echo '<h2>'.the_title().'</h2>'; and figure it must be something like that, but?

Help greatly appreciated!

Hello,

Is it possible to add the simple Paypal to the sidebar using custom fields?
For example, if I created a custom field called "buy_button_info" and its value was "[wp_cart:CHE Poster:price:1500:var1[Size|15x15|15x30|15x45]:var2[Size 2|45x15|30x30]:end]"

How would I get this to work.

Thanks

I was hoping to have a little play around with the code for Simple Cart and maybe extend it a little. I just wondered which PayPal Service it uses.

Is it 'Express Checkout' or 'Website Payments Standard' or something like that?

Regards

I am going to use this for receiving donations. Is there a way to let someone to enter a donation amount the choose?

Otherwise, I guess I could use a dropdown menu with giving choices.

Thanks

I have a few items for sale on various pages using the same template. I have the shopping cart in my sidebar. I have noticed that when I test the cart and attempt to buy a number of items on different pages, the cart says it's empty although I have added items from other pages. If I attempt to add another item then it will display the previous items but when I go to another page it will again say the cart is empty.

This is obviously confusing for people wanting to fill up their cart from various pages and wanting to see ALL the items.

Is there a fix for this? This plugin is very good but this is a real problem for me.

Thanks for any help.
