Thanks for the reply. I'll bear that in mind and will probably just create a special hidden page that is only sent to particular users.

Can I request it as a feature for the future? It would be very useful.

Cheers,

No, there is no option to manually approve one particular level. You can only enable the "Manually Approve Member Registration" option in the setting to manually approve members for all levels. You can manually keep an eye on the users that are registering for this *special* level and moderate them if needed.

Hi,

Just wondering if it's possible to manually override the default automatic membership registration so that one particular level *must* be manually approved? I can't seem to find this... does it exist?

I'm trying to set up a site to be automatic *except* for just 1 level that is super extra special and only admin approved members can join.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Thanks, I'll contact you on your website, that example site you gave me is what I have right now and I'm not happy with it, with your help I can get it to where I need it to be.

See you on the other side :-)

The examples you gave are sites where the business spent money to get those designs custom developed. You most likely won't get a ready made WordPress theme that will look just like those. You can search for various eCommerce themes out there and see if you can find one that you like.

You will probably always need to do some customization to get your site looking just right and integrated with eCommerce plugins etc.
Just to give you a demo of what can be done, here is a WordPress eCommerce site for physical goods that I created.
It's an off-the-shelf theme that is integrated with WP eStore / WP eMember and Affiliate Platform.
See: http://physical-estore-jewelry.wpfullservice.com/

Contact me via my website and I can give you some advice if you want to do something similar, since that's what I specialize in - WP eCommerce integration.
http://wpfullservice.com/contact/

Thanks,
Kirk.

As this is regarding the display of things, I thought it may be ideal to ask this question here:

All these themes look good, the demo sites are okay but I I have yet to see one that actually looks like an ecommerce site, a proper shopping site. Please forgive me, I might be opening my mouth to change feet..
I want to use Wordpress eStore Plugin for my online perfume store.
Is there a way I can get this theme to look like any of these sites below?
Or
Is there a way I can customise a theme using a program like 'artisteer' that would be compatible with Wordpress eStore Plugin to achieve my goal?
Basically I'm looking to create a complete store - not a store that looks like a blog.
So I'm asking for advice before I purchase - is it possible to do this look and feel with Estore Plugin without major customization?

http://www.fragrancex.com/
http://www.perfume.com/
http://strawberrynet.com/

There is one option in the "Admin Functions" where you can click one button and it will resend the "Registration Completion" email again to everyone who needs it. I will also look into your proposal... it sounds like a good option to add.

Hi Admin,

I've now found the resend function for the registration completion and sent it to the user.

While this is useful, here's a suggestion to help improve this system (and reduce time for Admins):

When the user tries to use the "Forgot Password" option, the system checks to see if they have an associated username (or if it's blank) and either sends them their User details, or a re-registration completion email.

The reason I'm suggesting this is because, looking through the members, there's quite a lot of "blank" username entries. Potentially, this could mean quite a lot of users re-requesting a completion emails in future. That's quite a bit of logging in and out of the system.

It would be great if this could be automated in someway, as this would really help Admins out.

Cheers,

Zain
