What a dolt I am... Of course it's the server, not my PC.

Thanks for your patience with this. Loving the plug-in and your timely support as well.

Cheers,

"The plugin doesn't have a timer itself it just gets the system time (meaning it just gets the server's time)"

The above line means the plugin gets the time from your server (remember the plugin runs on your server not your PC... I was just giving an example with the whole PC thing). So, if you log into your server's console (on a UNIX system) and enter the command "date" it will display the current date and time.

Makes sense, but my system clock and time zone are correct. I'm Pacific, which is -8 hours GMT... The plug-in is +8 hours from my system time (i.e. the plug-in is working on GMT). What could cause this?

The Mailchimp class provided by mailchimp (required for mailchimp integration) seems to not work on some servers. Not sure what the root cause is... I sent an inquiry to Mailchimp but haven't heard back from them.

The plugin doesn't have a timer itself it just gets the system time (meaning it just gets the server's time). It's kind of like if you run an application in your PC it doesn't have a timer itself... it will just get the time from the system so if your timezone in the PC is not set correctly the time in the application will be wrong too.

OK, I did another test, and this one tracked the sales and commission. I think it may have been because I had the Mailchimp integration activated: I had NOT clicked the first checkbo, but HAD checked the second under the “Autoresponder Settings” tab from the Settings menu of eStore.

Does that make sense?

Also, How can I adjust the time zone for the affiliate & estore plugins? They are about 8 hours ahead of me (PST) and my WP setting.

Thanks for your help: These are awesome plugins!

BTW, could the Mailchimp link be the issue? That would have been the next line, I think. I've since disabled it...

Hi,

Yes, I followed those steps for the test that resulted in that log.

If you look at the following line then you can see that the affiliate ID didn't get passed:

"No Referrer Found. This is not an affiliate sale"

Now that we know what the issue is we can try to identify why isn't the affiliate ID getting passed thru the payment.

Have you followed the testing instructions outlined here?

http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/how-to-test-the-wp-affiliate-platform-plugin-35

Please post a link to your landing page (where you have the payment button) so I can check it out.

Sorry: My Mistake -- I was looking at the wrong entry...

Here is the error line for the sale that did not get tracked:

<--snip-->
<--snip-->

The log stops at "Products, Customers, Coupons, Sales Database Tables" and then re-starts an hour later when I processed the refund (since it was a test, and the sale had not shown up in the system).

Sales since then seem to be checking in with the Affiliate plug in no problem:
