Do you really need to outsource the setting of PayPal profile based shipping? As far as I know, it's pretty simple to setup... this link is a good place to start off:

https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?&cmd=_render-content&content_ID=developer/e_howto_html_ProfileAndTools#id08A9EF00IQY

Once you have it setup in your PayPal profile then simply check the "Use PayPal Profile Based Shipping" option in eStore settings and all done.

thank you for your reply. I totally understand. Although I love your plugin, I believe it might not have been the right choice for my client.

Back to the drawing board for my client. =)

eStore only allows the simple shipping options explained here (this is stated in the sales page of the plugin):

http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/how-the-shipping-cost-calculation-works-in-wordpress-estore-50

You might be able to use the PayPal's profile based shipping option to achieve what you are after.

Basically, eStore was designed mainly for digital products so I intentionally only added simple shipping option to keep the plugin light weight so your site performance do not suffer. There are many free shopping carts out there for selling physical products with complex shipping options... so this is not a niche I want to cover.

I have a client that I am working with and I have installed and set up the wp-estore plugin. Now I am stuck on the shipping part of the plugin. The plugin seems to only allow for one type of shipping criteria which is per item.

My client wants the following shipping rates:

First Order FREE Shipping and Handle

Then any order after the first:

$0 to $29.99 = $8 shipping and handling fee

$30.01 to $64.99 = $5 shipping and handling fee

$65.00 and up = Free shipping

Please advise how I would set this up.

We are using wordpress 3.0 and will be using paypal.

thank you for your time.

Lisa
