Hi, is there an easy way to add a pic to the 300x250 ad block with a link on it?

You simply add a text widget to the "Sidebar Top" widget section and then you can add anything you want in that section. For a test add a "Text" widget to the "sidebar top" section and add some content to it and you will see how it appears in that area.
