    hi,

Firstly, thanks for a great plugin, it is (mostly ;) working great.

However, I am having a couple of issues I thought you might be able to help me with:

    ISSUE #1:

I have setup my Paypal account for PDT, and entered my return URL which I created in Wordpress, and pasted the identity token in the right place, I ticked "Enable Transaction Result Display" and "Use Automatic Post Payment Processing"

I am able to checkout and pay successfully with PayPal (with a $0.01 test product with encrypted download link - a pdf file) but after being redirected back to my site I get a 404 page, with

the page title "Nothing found for thankyou?tx=1VX5893102033531S&st=Completed&amt=0.01&cc=AUD&cm=&item_number="

    and the URL "http://www.workyourselfout.com/thankyou?tx=1VX5893102033531S&st=Completed&amt=0.01&cc=AUD&cm=&item_number="

I tested it again WITHOUT PDT and auto redirect, and the thankyou page appears, but the download link doesn't.

    ISSUE #2)

The email gets sent out fine after purchase, however when the download link is clicked I get a 'Download file cannot be found. Please let us know. Thank you!' error, with the URL in the address bar as:

    http://www.workyourselfout.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/download.php?file=0hOa%2FSMFV%2F2ZgqTpyUyZ9OKTRg%3D%3D

I have tried unticking 'downloadable' in the product settings, have tried adjusting the 'Automatic URL Conversion Preference' to 'Do Not Convert' but I still get the same error,

any assistance would be much appreciated!

    thanks,
    Ryan

UPDATE - I have have been using the PDF stamper for the file, after unchecking the 'stamp' option in the product settings, the email download link now works.

The link still doesn't show in the thankyou page (with no PDT and autodirect), and I still get a 404 error as described above with PDT and autodirect ON)

I also tried manually stamping the PDF file but received an error: "An error occurred while trying to stamp the file!"

The PDF was supplied by my client, and was created from a .docx file using Mac OS X 10.5.8 Quartz PDFContext according to the pdf properties. All permissions are set to 'allowed'

First you need to make sure that you can manually stamp the PDF file. So please go through the checklists of PDF Stamper here -

Can you please also contact your hosting provider as to why the following URL is giving a 404 error. This is a standard PDT response that PayPal sends:

    http://www.workyourselfout.com/thankyou?tx=1VX5893102033531S&st=Completed&amt=0.01&cc=AUD&cm=&item_number=

    Hi, thanks for the response.

I have followed the checklist supplied but still receive the same error, could it be a server permissions issue?
I am happy to give you site access if you wanted to take a look.

Have contacted my hosting provider with regards to the 404 error

    thanks,
    Ryan

Your hosting provider needs to addres the issue whereby the following URL gives a 404:

    http://www.workyourselfout.com/thankyou?tx=1VX5893102033531S&st=Completed&amt=0.01&cc=AUD&cm=&item_number=

This is how PayPal sends the PDT (payment data transfer) to any website and it should work on any website. The plugin doesn't do anything special here. Once your site doesn't go to a 404 when PayPal sends the payment data eStore can read the data sent by PayPal and show the download links after the verification.

I have sent you an email to get site access so I can check the PDF stamper issue.
