I have WP 2.9.2 and have installed WP Simple Shopping Cart 2.7

I have tested the following short code both in a post and in a page:

    [wp_cart:mytest product:price:25.00:end]

While the Add to Cart button appears, nothing happens when I click on it. I do not get directed to PayPay nor do I get directed to a shopping cart page.

I have a paypal merchant account and have filled in the account's user email.

I have tried disabling all other plugins but get the same outcome
I have tried using the default WP theme but get the same outcome.

I have been all over the Tips and Tricks site and all over this forum. This is a pretty simple, elegant plugin so I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. Does 2.7 not work with WP 2.9x?

Did you place the shortcode to display the shopping cart? When you click the "Add to Cart" button the product gets added to the shopping cart but if you are not displaying the shopping cart then nothing will happen. You can add the shopping cart using the following shortcode on a post or page or use the sidebar widget from the widgets menu.

    [show_wp_shopping_cart]

I did place the shortcode to display the shopping cart but am still having the same problem. I see the items in the shopping cart IF I go directly to the shopping cart page. The problem is that when I hit the add to cart button I am not directed to the shopping cart page so it appears as if nothing is happening. Is there a way to to direct the user to the cart upon submission of the add to cart button?

    Thanks

Hi, Do you have the checkout page URL specified in the "Checkout Page" field in the setting menu of the eStore? If you do not have the URL of the checkout page in this field it will not redirect the customer to the page when they add a product to their shopping cart. Can you please provide a link to where this problem is happening so I can have a look at it?

    Cheers,

I have uploaded Simple Paypal Shopping Cart Settings v 2.6 and I'm having the same problem BUT it kicks me to the home page. I do not see any "checkout Page" options anywhere as you mentioned above. These snippets are embedded into the HTML:

    [wp_cart:2 week trial program:price:9.99:end]

    [show_wp_shopping_cart]

Here is where the button is:

    http://www.arrowheadkenpo.com/shop/

I uploaded this onto another site I own and it works perfectly. Not sure what's going on with this particular site.

Ivy thanks for looking at things. Per your instruction, I submitted my request to my hosting company as it does appear to be a server side issue. I installed the plugin on my other sites and it worked perfectly. Hope to have things resolved soon!
