Hi there I have installed wp affiliate onto the site and have registered. Here is the link:

    http://itsgotsoul.co.uk/affiliates/affiliate-sub/

Once registered I get an email confirmation of user and password. I try to login but doesnt allow me.

I checked the admin area of affiliates. No affiliate has been registered.

I tried to manually insert an affiliate from the back end however doesnt work either.

    Could you help please?

I am using the shopp plugin but cant see this conflicting with this error?

I have read up on the forum and seen it could be that the database tables have not been corrected or working properly/synced.

    Any help would be fantastic.

Yes, this usually happens when the database columns are out of sync of if it didn't get created at all at activation time. When you activated the plugin did you notice an error?

Please deactivate and delete this copy of the plugin then download a fresh build from here and re-install it:

    Hi there,

Yes I received an error.. a lot of php errors that came onto the page. My developer managed to get it installed, but obviously the database tables weren't created.

I have deactivated it and reactivated it.. the following error is what I received on the administration area:

The plugin generated 1169 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.

I only purchased this the other week?

The following forum post will explain why this error is happening and how to fix it:

When there are errors at activation time this usually means there is something happening in the MYSQL and the tables are not getting created.

What version of WordPress are you using?
What version of the WP Affiliate Platform are you using?

If the above post does not help with the issue let us know and we will look into this further.
