Our affiliates get awarded a set commission per sale and on top of that get a monthly residual.
Is it possible to do an automatic billing of residuals for our affiliates?
And can I be pointed in the right direction to maybe keep a track of that residuals in the back end and display on the affiliates account page?
The affiliate plugin can only deal with commissions. Not sure if this will work but can you award the residuals to the affiliates as commissions at the end of the month? You can add manual commission to any affiliate via the "Sale/Comm Data" menu. When you manually award the commission you can use a unique transaction ID in the "Transaction ID" field so you know which commission was a residual payment.
If the above works then you just do the payout as normal commission payout.
