I don't have "Amazon" in my list yet. After I release the "Authorize.net" payment gateway I would like to work on Google Checkout.
If you are a developer who can code in PHP then you should be able to add them to the cart yourself (I can definitely give you some guidance).
Thank you. I'll look at it and see what I can do. (Will have questions for sure if I take this project on).
Love your cart!
Hi,
We are attempting to add google checkout to our website. What do we have to do to accomplish this?
Is it by inserting a widget and adding the google code to the widget?
I am lost - please help!
Thanks in advance!
WP eStore plugin do not have Google Checkout just yet. I am guessing this is a not eStore related question.
This page should have information that you are after:
I'm eyeballing the Amazon payment system as well. I like the look of it and am definitely interested in knowing if anyone has any experience with it.
I'm sure that it's no small task to add such integration to the plugin, but I'd be happy to be on the record in favor of this.
I'm sure you don't have other things to do! :-)

LOL :)
I was just re-reading something you said from earlier in the thread, about being able to integrate something like this with basic php skills. My php skills are middling at best, but how difficult do you think it would be to integrate something like Amazon payments? Is this something that I could do with a little guidance?
Just a thought.

It will require some coding so I wouldn't recommend you try it without good PHP skills.
You can get me 20 interested customers who want to use amazon payment gateway and I will add it :) (Just kidding)
So what is so special about the amazon payment gateway?
It allows customers to pay by using their existing amazon accounts (which nearly everyone has) and they don't have to leave your own site to do it. The cost structure is basically identical to paypal, but Amazon also offers a much more robust support system (as far as I can tell) along with better customer support, etc.
About the only downside that I can see (after researching this for a couple of hours and emailing them with a few questions) is that folks without Amazon accounts can't pay with this system. To take on paypal though, I'm guessing that they will likely change that in the future...
All the info is here:https://payments.amazon.com/sdui/sdui/index.htm
I'm sure there are 20 people who would be interested in this!!
