Any way to have the manual checkout add tax?

I am finishing up final development on a e-commerce site using WP eStore and we are currently using Manual Checkout for customers who want to do local pickup of their purchase. Is there any way to add tax to the total order of the Manual Checkout?

PayPal currently figures taxes for the web site owners state when using PayPal checkout, but when using manual checkout, we seem to be out of luck. Perhaps I am missing something.

It would be great if there was a check box that would add a specified tax rate to the total order when using "Manual" checkout. Any thoughts as to how to make this work?

If you use eStore's tax feature then it will apply tax to all checkout. If you want to use a separate tax for manual checkout then you can do a small custom tweak to apply a tax on the total amount (just a matter of multiplying the total with your tax rate). If you are a developer then then you should be able to do this tweak. Post a link to your product page so I can check it out. What version of eStore are you using?
