Before people can download a software for free from our website, they need to provide name and email.
Can I set up a free download product in eShop and use WordPress Affiliate Platform to trace the affiliate link related "sales"? The "sales" here means someone provides name and email address to obtain the download link. It would be great if I can know which free download (customer name & email) is brought by which affiliate website.
We will pay the affilates off the system, since there is no money involved in this flow: affiliate link >> landing page on my site >> add to (download) cart >> enter your name and email to proceed (check out) >> pay $0 >> download link either sent to email or show up online. And the WordPress Affiliate Platform only needs to provide the records that how many successful download (and what are the customer names and email address) are brought by a certain affiliate website.
Can the WordPress Affiliate Platform record the customers' name and email for each "sale"?
