Hi,

I'm using a fresh install of your eStore (newest version) and WP Affiliate (newest version).

The product I'm selling is through PayPal, and through a BuyNow button. This has been working fine and being handled by eStore for a few months with no issues.

I just set up WP Affiliate, and the sign-up process is fine, but when I tried a test purchase through the affiliate link, a click is registered, but the sale/commission isn't.

I've got the commission set up as %.

Also, on a side note, the time stamp for registered clicks is in the wrong time zone: Is this adjustable?

BTW, the ap_id is showing up in PayPal as a custom field, and the payment shows in eStore records as well... Let me know if you need login access.

Shouldn't be too hard to track... can you please run a test transaction with "Debug Enabled" and share the result? It should reveal as to what is going wrong... the following URL will help you with running a test transaction with debug enabled:

Sorry: My Mistake -- I was looking at the wrong entry...

Here is the error line for the sale that did not get tracked:

The log stops at "Products, Customers, Coupons, Sales Database Tables" and then re-starts an hour later when I processed the refund (since it was a test, and the sale had not shown up in the system).

Sales since then seem to be checking in with the Affiliate plug in no problem:
[03/01/2010 11:09 PM] - SUCCESS :Products, Customers, Coupons, Sales Database Tables Updated.
[03/01/2010 11:10 PM] - SUCCESS :MailChimp signup operation performed. Return value is: 1
[03/01/2010 11:10 PM] - SUCCESS :Updating Affiliate Database Table with Sales Data if Using the WP Affiliate Platform Plugin.
[03/01/2010 11:10 PM] - SUCCESS :WP Affiliate Platform is installed, registering sale...
[03/01/2010 11:10 PM] - SUCCESS :No Referrer Found. This is not an affiliate sale

(note that the last series of log entries were for a sale not through an affiliate link)

If you look at the following line then you can see that the affiliate ID didn't get passed:

"No Referrer Found. This is not an affiliate sale"

Now that we know what the issue is we can try to identify why isn't the affiliate ID getting passed thru the payment.

Have you followed the testing instructions outlined here?

BTW, could the Mailchimp link be the issue? That would have been the next line, I think. I've since disabled it...

OK, I did another test, and this one tracked the sales and commission. I think it may have been because I had the Mailchimp integration activated: I had NOT clicked the first checkbo, but HAD checked the second under the “Autoresponder Settings” tab from the Settings menu of eStore.

Does that make sense?

Also, How can I adjust the time zone for the affiliate & estore plugins? They are about 8 hours ahead of me (PST) and my WP setting.
