    Customers are receiving this message:

"The secure download manager ran into a problem that it couldn’t handle, and is unable to process your download request.
The problem was due to the following reason:
The download link (see browser address bar) has been used too many times. If you think this reason is in error, please contact the site administrator."

I have changed the download instructions in e-store so that there is no anonymous download; the customer will now go directly to the URL page. I will see if that makes the download proceed more smoothly.

    How to proceed?

    Thank you,
    JB

The plugin is telling you what the error is. See the following line:

"The download link (see browser address bar) has been used too many times"

This means you are using a link more than the number of times it is permitted to be used. Why do you say you have corrupted content message? Have you check your "Download Limit Count" settings in eStore? Maybe increase that number or disable that and only keep time limited option?

I have not set a download limit, so it is infinite.

The file that customers are directed to is just an information page, so it is a very low size.

However, some customers are getting this message:

"The download link (see browser address bar) has expired (it’s too old). If you think this reason is in error, please contact the site administrator."

    Thank you,
    JB

What version of eStore are you using? How long is your link expiry time set to?

If you generate a link now and then try to access it, can you access everything fine? How are you determining that the customer is not trying to access the content after the link has expired?

    I'm using ver. 6.2.6.

When I do a check, the system works properly.

Throughout all these situations, the expiration was set on infinity, so this should not be an issue.

This is why it is confusing that a number of customers sent me the page that came up when they clicked on the link, and it said:

"The problem was due to the following reason: The download link (see browser address bar) has expired (it’s too old). If you think this reason is in error, please contact the site administrator."

    Thank you,

What value have you set in the expiry time field of the plugin?

In the Settings, the "duration of download link" is set to 24 hours. When I erase it, it returns to 24 hours. Is this correct?

In the "download limit count," I had thought it was blank, but it seems to have been set at 5. I've now re-set it to zero.

Thank you for your patience and assistance.

sorry, when I wrote that I had reset the "download limit count" to zero, I meant "left blank."

Don't leave the expiry time field blank. Use a very high number such as 999999 to handle this (this will cover more than 100 or so years).
