I'm new to your plugin and have the following issue. When I try to download a PDF via the encrypted link the resulting file is not readable. The downloaded file has the same size than the original one, and if I try to download it from the original repository, things work fine.

Ok, I found a solution that I don't really understand. By deactivating the "downloadable" checkbox in the product description, things are fine. It seems to still use the encrypted link so I assume that the contents is still "hidden". Can you confirm that and explain, please?

If you check "downloadable" option the digital content will be offered as an anonymous download (the customer won't know where it is coming from). If it is unchecked the plugin will let the browser handle the download so your customer will be able to know the true URL of the product if they know what they are doing.
I read the post you mention before posting here. As noted in my first post, the downloaded file size is not zero in my case, but exactly the one of the original file. I tried with two different browsers, and I'm currently using the plugin with the "Downloadable" checkbox unchecked.
