Hi
I have just installed the application and added a product to test - the purchase works fine however when I use IE8 to download the product it just gives a general error - but in Chrome it downloads ok
any thoughts?
it is a big file 25Mb as a zip

The message I am getting is:
"Internet explorere cannot download download.php from XXXX.com"
"Internet explorer was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. please try again later"

Now I am getting "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" in IE8
& in Chrome:
The web page at http://mydomain.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/download.php?file=2xOa%2FSMFVvaVgKXj might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.so this appears worse

Do you have a caching plugin or are you using Gzip compression?
