I just tested purchasing a digital download product from the site I am setting up with eStore. The buyer email contains the paragraph coding. It reads as follows:
<p>Dear J T</p>
<p>Thank you for your purchase!</p>
<p>
Dental Employee Interview and Reference Questions x 1 – $0.01 (USD)</p>
<p>Any item(s) to be shipped will be processed as soon as possible, any digital item(s) can be downloaded using the encrypted links below.</p>
<p>
The email also contained the link to the product I had tested purchasing, but I just copied the above area to show you that it is including the <p> marks. The seller notification email I received did not contain these however. From the Email Settings area of eStore, it will only show me the Text version of the Buyer Email, not the Visual version. Sometimes, I can’t get back to the Text version once I’ve clicked over to Visual to see if it is showing up yet. I did choose to use Plain Text How can I fix this so that the Buyer’s Email does not show the paragraph coding? Thank you!
I am using the latest WordPress version and eStore version 7.1.9. I am using Plain Text Email Content Type.
Something (likely another plugin) is messing up the email editor in your site. Do the following:
1) Go to the email settings menu
2) Go to the “text” view and make sure there are no HTML tags there.
3) Scroll down and hit the save button (Don’t go back to the view view)
Now do a test.
