I have an internal system with classes (behave as products) and discounts that apply to each class. Also, each class have a donate button that needs to be tracked per class.
Is clear that eStore do not provide an extenal API for this kind of integration but I’m looking two possible scenarios:
1. Create a custom WP plugin that will query the external source and add the add to cart button for each class.
2. Create a WP page that when call will query the external source and insert discounts and classes into the eStore own products and discount tables.
Scenario 1 will be easy to build but discount and donation will require extending the plugin code itself to handle this specific situation.
Scenario 2 will be a cleaner implementation (no code change) but I’m not sure if there is the functions needed in PHP to add products and discounts.
I appreciate the help on this matter.

Couldn’t you create an eStore product for each of your external products? Then you would just sell the eStore product (which corresponds to a class) from your site. This way you won’t need to have a complex system that needs to query the external system all the time.
Classes get created all the time and does also have limited duration, so we also need to remove classes that are already done. Definitely a manual process for this integration is out of the picture, we are talking about 100-200 classes in a year.
Thanks for you help
