Good afternoon,
I am really hoping someone can help. I am using eStore (with a number of the addons) – which is amazing by the way. I have configured everything, however I need a tickbox for the customer to acknowledge that they have read the T&Cs. When I activate this, nothing happens when you click on it.
I am using a theme and saw a similar post on here, when I asked them whether they are using the standard JQUERY, I was told they were and that the issue was a CSS one. They gave me some CSS to try and fix it, but it isnt working, not sure what else to do…, is anyone able to help.
The address for the site is [www.ovester.com/store] and the issue only appears once you have added something to the cart.
Thanking you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
Kind regards,
Peter

[type=”checkbox”]:not(:checked),
[type=”checkbox”]:checked {
position: absolute;
left: inherit !important;
opacity: 0;
z-index: 1000000;
cursor: pointer;
margin-top: 7px;
margin-left: 3px;
}
August 1, 2017 at 1:43 am #76127adminKeymasterYou have JavaScript error on your webpage coming from the Maps plugin I believe. That is messing up JavaScript for the rest of the page. So you need to fix that.
The following post will help you see the error and explain why that is an issue:

August 1, 2017 at 11:03 am #76128OvesterMemberThanks for coming back so quickly…, I fixed the API issue (for the maps), however in the debugger it says
“Use of getAttributeNode() is deprecated. Use getAttribute() instead
It is showing under the tickbox, just not sure how to get this tick box working so I can start accepting payments.
Thanking you in advance
August 3, 2017 at 12:44 am #76129adminKeymasterThe javascript issue is gone. However, your theme has a CSS issue with displaying the checkbox. The following test should show you what I mean:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/test-to-identy-a-conflicting-theme-or-plugin
I think if you apply the following CSS tweak in your site, it will counter the issue that your theme is creating:
[type=”checkbox”]:not(:checked), [type=”checkbox”]:checked {
position: inherit;
}
August 6, 2017 at 2:14 pm #76130OvesterMemberThanks for your advice, unfortunately it didn’t work, however I believe the issue was with the JScript…, in the end, the theme designer kindly fixed the problem.
Thank you for all your help
