Hi, just got your system properly and followed your video to create a store page with the short codes fancy 2.
Products display on the store page with huge gaps. [http://www.efl-lorraine.com/store-2/]
How can I correct this please?
Thanks!
Lorriane
September 22, 2012 at 10:22 am #49561EFL-LorraineMemberHi…
This is Lorraine.
I found a solution on the extra short codes plugins page…
Fancy 5 and 6 work as required but 1and 2 don’t work for me still.
But at least I can now display the products in a satisfactory manner.
September 22, 2012 at 11:51 pm #49562adminKeymasterPlease create a test page and place the fancy 1 and 2 display on that page. Then share the URL of this page so I can see the issue on your site.
November 12, 2012 at 3:00 am #49563TSMMMemberI am having a similar problem when trying to display all products as thumbnails. There are GAPS. I have tried using different ordering in the shortcode but still have gaps.
Test page at – [http://www.underwatersnap.com/testpage/]
includes:-
[wp_eStore_show_all_products style=3 order=1 type=1]
[wp_eStore_show_all_products style=5 order=1 type=1]
[wp_eStore_show_all_products style=6 order=1 type=1]
[wp_eStore_show_all_products style=3 order=3 type=1]
[wp_eStore_show_all_products style=5 order=3 type=1]
[wp_eStore_show_all_products style=6 order=3 type=1]
[wp_eStore_show_all_products style=5 order=1 type=1] seems to display all thumbnails without gaps, but we don’t want the white boxes around the product.
Can you help?
November 12, 2012 at 4:59 am #49564adminKeymasterYou have a maintenance mode plugin so I can’t see anything when I go to that page.
FYI – You won’t be able to test a transaction with that plugin active. Make sure to read this post:
November 18, 2012 at 1:20 am #49565TSMMMemberSorry, maintenance mode now removed. Can you suggest a way to fix it. Thanks. Tracy
November 19, 2012 at 2:39 am #49566adminKeymasterHi, Thank you for that I can see that page now. I think your issue maybe similar to this one:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/estore-fancy-3-thumbnails-not-displaying-properly
Please take a look at the above post and let me know if I understood what you mean by “GAP”.
November 19, 2012 at 10:59 am #49567TSMMMemberThank you admin, the “GAP” is that the thumbnail grid displays like there’s thumbnails missing, but they are in order, just blank spaces. Agree, that it seems to have something to do with the under of lines the image titles display on.
QUOTE “I simply targeted the description in the css for the footer element, and set a standard height to the element so my descriptions can either be one or two lines. (I also used some margins to pull the description away from the thumbnail) Here’s my CSS:
.eStore-fancy3-footer{margin: 10px 0px; height: 40px !important;} “
I tried adding this code to the “Custom CSS Code” box on the Theme Options tab (Photocrati) and the code above worked well for fixing the Fancy 3 style, but did not work for the Fancy 6 style (I used “.eStore-fancy6-footer{margin: 10px 0px; height: 40px !important;}” )
Is there somewhere else I should add this code?
November 20, 2012 at 4:08 am #49568adminKeymasterThe fancy 6 doesn’t need that CSS tweak. That was only for fancy 3 display. I just went to the page you shared earlier and I don’t see any issue with fancy 6 display.
November 21, 2012 at 11:37 am #49569TSMMMemberHmm, not sure what you’re looking at but the blank gaps are still showing on my version of [http://www.underwatersnap.com/testpage] , scroll all the way to the bottom of that page and you see blank gaps between UWS00043 and UWS00044.
Is there a way to set the size of the text boxes under the images in Fancy 6, if a minimum title text box size could be set, then this problem with different title lengths would be fixed and then there wouldn’t be any blank spaces/gaps.
November 22, 2012 at 2:50 am #49570adminKeymasterOkay, that should be doable with CSS. I will be able to tell you what to do but you gotta do something first. That page has way too many galleries so I am having a hard time with my CSS tool. Please do the following:
1) Create another test page
2) Place the following shortcode on that page:
[wp_eStore_show_all_products style=6 order=3 type=1]
3) Share a link to this page so I can only concentrate on that.
November 29, 2012 at 2:57 am #49571TSMMMemberThanks admin – here is the test page as requested:-
[http://www.underwatersnap.com/testpage2/]
November 30, 2012 at 4:45 am #49572adminKeymasterThank you. Add the following bit of CSS file in the custom CSS file and that should sort it out:
.eStore_fancy6_body {
height: 80px;
}December 4, 2012 at 6:03 am #49573TSMMMemberThank you admin Key Master… they look good now. You’re a flamin genius.
