Fatal Error after installing WP Affiliate Plugin

Hello

When I clicked activate I get the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/importmy/public_html/cms/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/wp_affiliate_config_class.php on line 5

This means that the server is using a very old version of PHP. This post will explain more:

Hello. Apparently I cannot update the php in this server from 4 to 5 because there is a site there that is not prepared for php 5.
Is there any way to make the plugin work with php 4?

The latest version of WordPress has made the minimum PHP version requirement to be PHP5. All of our plugins are kept upto date to work with the latest version of WordPress so we had to update our plugins too. You really shouldn't be using a hosting that won't upgrade their PHP if you want to keep using WordPress.
