    I am running the infinity remix theme with the featured content gallery plugin. I have the php script for running the gallery plugin in my index.php file.

    However, when I go to the site homepage, it doesn't show the gallery. I can't figure out if there is a conflict with one of the site settings, one of the plugins, or something else.

    Looking for advice on what to test, check, and adjust so that I can get the featured content gallery to show up on the homepage.

    Okay looks like you have specified a custom page as your home page. So it is not using the default homepage (the blog display) which means the code you put in the "index.php" is not getting executed. Lets make sure that my theory is correct though... please go to the "Reading" settings of your WordPress install and choose the default option for "Front page displays" field. The default option for that field is "Your latest posts". After you do that let me know if you can see the featured content gallery on your homepage.

    Good call. The gallery is on the default screen. Is there a (relatively) easy way to embed the code into a template / file so that it shows up on my static home page?

    If possible, I would also be interested to know if there's a way to eliminate the bread crumbs / page title on the static home page.

    Many Thanks ...

    Try placing the featured content gallery embed code in the header.php file (this file is common):

    <div id="featured-content">
        <?php include (ABSPATH . '/wp-content/plugins/featured-content-gallery/gallery.php'); ?>
    </div>

    My desire is to have the featured content gallery on the home page only, but with the page title / bread crumbs removed.

    I can load the php script into the (home) page content easy enough, but can't figure out how to remove the title / breadcrumbs from that page only.

    Sincere Thanks ...

    You will need to look into getting a custom page template made and then you can use that as your homepage. This video tutorial should help:
