I run a site with more than 1000 members and want to import them into wpEmember. In the old situation, our members login with their email address and use a nickname on the site (Forum etc.) Because of this they don't have a username.
When I import all users into wpEmember, I have to generate a unique username for all members. I can imagine that not everyone is happy with the generated username and I want to give them the ability to use a nickname which they can change in their profile.
Is it possible to make use of the WP Nickname field in wpEmember?

No, eMember doesn't use the Nickname field (it uses the username field from WordPress).
