    Product: eStore
I just bought eStore last week and am trying to get my 1st product working.

I am using a BuyNow button and when I click, it sends me over to PayPal, but a blank page is displayed (https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr).

    Reproduce the issue here: http://www.IndependentContractingResources.com/how-to-be-an-it-contractor-how-to-work-as-a-contractor-store/
by clicking on the first Buy Now button.

I'm sure there is something I have configured incorrectly, but I can't figure out what that is or how to fix it.

I went into the Admin page and generated a link and that seems to be working Ok, so it is just the connection to PayPal that is at issue.

    Thanks,
    Paul

Looks like the buy button you have on that page is actually not embedded using eStore (its a PayPal button).

What exact shortcode are you trying to use to place the eStore button? Have you seen these video tutorials?

Here is the shortcode using my custom button.
    [wp_eStore_buy_now_custom_button id=1 button=http://www.IndependentContractingResources.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/BuyNowWithCCAndNew-e1316625068538.jpg]

I tried with your standard "Buy Now" shortcode button [wp_eStore_buy_now:product_id:1:end] and that seems to work going to PayPal, so it seems like the issue is with the custom button.

I tried adding a :end on the custom button shortcode, but then the image doesn't show up, and when I click on the image placeholder the same PayPal issue presents itself.

Create a new WordPress page on your site (this is just for testing purpose). Now place the following shortcode on this page:

    [wp_eStore_buy_now_custom_button id=1 button=http://www.IndependentContractingResources.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/BuyNowWithCCAndNew-e1316625068538.jpg]

Once you do that please post the link to this page so I can check the HTML source code and see what is going on.

    Ok. I got it fixed.

When I replaced my old PayPal button with your shortcode, I did it in the Visual mode as opposed to the HTML mode, and there was still some old HTML tags that must have been screwing things up.

Thanks a lot for your help.
