And thank you for creating such a flexible Wordpress Membership + Shopping Cart plugin set. It saved my life.
I am trying to convince a friend of mine to go with eStore + eMember, but I can't make work what I think they should do with their site.
She wants to be able to give people the option of buying a membership in behalf of someone else. So I suggested setting up a one-time redemption limit coupon that A buys then send the coupon code to friend B. B goes to the store, buys the product, redeems 100% said discount coupon, is sent to manual checkout and pays nothing.
My problem is when I set this all up on my eStore with one of my products, it doesn't update the eMember table.
The product is linked to a membership level. When I don't use the coupon code, then I checkout through paypal and the buyer gets a confirmation link email. When I use the coupon and redeem in upon checkout, it redirects to manual checkout, then the buyer gets a thank you email, but no confirmation link email.
