    Hi guys!

I have a handful of different clients using your plugins for their online shops, selling physical product. I have been encouraging them to consider setting up affiliate programs -- which hasn't been done in this offline niche.

One of my clients said that she would prefer to give her affiliates a Gift Certificate or something like it, that can be redeemed on her site, rather than providing them with $$s to spend with a competitor ;-)

I told her I would ask, and maybe you could provide! LOLOL

Is there a way to do this? I think this could be a really good feature for folks selling physical products.

    Thanks!

Essentially when you mark the outstanding affiliate payments as "PAID" the plugin does not care how you pay it. The affiliate plugin only wants to know that you are taking care of the outstanding affiliate payments and marking it as "Paid".

So you don't have to pay your affiliate via PayPal (the standard practice). The admin can pay the affiliates whatever means satisfies both parties (the affiliates and the admin). The affiliate plugin can't track gift certificates or such but you can potentially track those offline via an excel spreadsheet or something similar.

OK... so, the plugin doesn't automatically pay out using PayPal? (just making sure that I understand here LOL)

Cool! That makes it perfect for my clients! Awesome!

Thanks, and please tell ivy I said Hi!
