eStore 4.8.2 to PayPal check-out form requires a contact phone number even when set to off in PayPal/Profile/Website Payment Preferences. Is there a setting in eStore I need to set to turn off this required field?

I looking for the setting in WP eStore Settings/Payment Gateway Settings. PayPal is the only payment option I'm using.

Should I be looking in an eStore PHP file for a "class=required" to delete?

By default PayPal checkout do not require phone number. You can only set this in your PayPal profile to require a phone number at checkout. If you don't want this then please log into your PayPal account and turn this off.

That's exactly they way I see it. However, I have this turned off in my PayPal Profile as suggested by you and by PayPal.

I'm wondering if it has anything to do with requirements for the Subscribe button.

    Any idea are highly appreciated.

And a big thank you for eStore. I love it.

eStore do not require phone number for any type of buttons. eStore doesn't submit any phone related variables to PayPal either. Subscription payment does go through a different API so please check in your PayPal profile to see if there is another settings for the recurring payment.
