WP eStore --> Settings --> General --> Enable Debug Logs. Then do a test and look at the Download_Manager_Debug.log file.
Probably a silly question about downloads

There are two documentation for the two different NextGen gallery integration options. They both link to each other and is accessible to anyone before purchase:
1. http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-estore-and-nextgen-gallery-integration-create-photo-shop-1200
2. http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/nextgen-gallery-alternate-integration-method-805As a matter of fact all of our documentations are accessible to anyone before purchase. If you spent some time reading these documentation you will see that it goes over the pros and cons of both the integration options so you can decide which one suits you.

Hi Amin007
I spent about 2 hours reading through the site before making the purchase - especially with the no refund option.....it is a matter of semantics with wording - I actually linked to one of the articles you have linked to as well and copy and pasted the wording which had been the cause for the confusion in an earlier post.Ive moved on from that....so be it - was quite frustrated when I wrote that because of the hours spent testing settings - its hard to write about frustrations and not come across as a $%&@, so trying to get it to work now - doing the first choice as there will be price variations on the photos we upload..............
Hi WZP
The error seems to be:[07/11/2011 8:21 PM] - Advisory : No DL file path conversion performed on URL.
[07/11/2011 8:21 PM] - Status : Dispatching DL method = 1
[07/11/2011 8:21 PM] - FAILURE : Error on fopen (then it lists the URL which is the actual URL of where the image is stored)Luckily I had ticked that option when setting up initially so have got some history logs there - so the difference seems to be from when it was working and when it stoppped was where the images are stored - would that be likely?
Initially the images were stored in next-gen gallery, so a subdirectory of the wp-content directory. I had put these ones (via ftp) under the main directory (not linked at all to any wordpress directories.
I have just created a subdirectory in wp-content and have tested in the admin setting the link and it is generating a link which prompts for download
Would that have been the solution you would have expected?

Sounds like a permissions problem with the next gen directory. It was probably set to something besides o755.
