I was wondering if there is a way to allow customers to search for products? The standard wordpress search doesn't go there.

Download the new version of extra eStore shortcodes plugin from here:
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-shortcodes-and-functions-reference-460
Then use the following shortcode on a post or page which will allow your customers to search your products database:
[wp_eStore_product_search]

You are doing a great job with this product. I have a question about the [wp_eStore_product_search]. When I add it to the page, it returns the name and price, but there is no way to open the product, or position to the product.For example, if I search for an item I have for sale on the same page or another page of products, the name and price are returned but there is no way to get to the product or add it to the cart whithout paging through the pages to find it. Is there something I can set that will allow a returned search to take them to the item when when they click on it?

If you specify a product page URL for each product the search result will also show the links to their respective product pages where you can display product info, add to cart button etc.

That model is slightly complex as you need a search box which is separate from the search result but it is doable. I will see if I can add a shortcode pair for this.
