    Hello,
I upgaded from Simple Paypal Shopping Cart Settings v 2.8.3
to WP eStore. I utilized the auto-install for plugins as was demonstrated in the video.

The Simple Paypal is not active and the WP eStore is active.
When I go to the Plugins-->Setting, only the Setting Page for Simple Paypal appear.

Do I need to delete the Simple Paypal? If so, will I lose any settings?
    Thanks

The settings for the eStore plugin appear in its own tab (it does not appear under the WordPress settings menu like it does for the simple shopping cart).

Please check out the video to see where you can find the eStore's settings menu. What version of WordPress are you using?

    Hello,
Thanks for the response. I am using WordPress 3.0.3. I was able to find the separate admin feature for the eStore but it does not appear that anything was migrated over.
My page(s) currently displays the tags from Simple Paypal and I assume the reason for this is that my database is not setup. I have to look further but is there a migrate function? I assumed that my settings/configuration from Simple Paypal would fully be inherited. Thanks again.

WP eStore is a separate plugin so the settings won't be inherited. It will take you less than 10 minutes to setup eStore with the same settings if you have watched the video tutorials.

Also, please upgrade your WordPress to the latest version (v3.1 as of today) so we have the same reference.

    Hello,

I have verified that I am using WP 3.1 and I have reviewed the video. After creating a product page, I am having an issue with adding the eStore shorcuts, I get this error:

    -------------
Warning: require_once(../wp-content/plugins/wp-contact/class.contact.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/arichman/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-contact/wp-contact.php on line 71

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '../wp-content/plugins/wp-contact/class.contact.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/arichman/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-contact/wp-contact.php on line 71
    -------------

Would this be a file permissions issue?
    Thanks for the help,

From the error it looks like you have a plugin called "WP Contact" or something similar which is having an issue (Most likely its missing a file).

Usually. if you read the error it will give you a good idea of where it is coming from. This error is not coming from eStore. Please delete the plugin that is showing the error then give it a try.

Super! I deactivated "WP Contact", and the eStore is working. Now I have to determine if the site really used "WP Contact". Thanks again.
