I just purchased and installed the eStore plugin to my Wordpress hosted website. It said the install was successful, but when I tried to activate it, it said that it had no header or something. Then I tried to find it in the plugins list, since it said it had been installed, but it doesn't not appear anywhere. And when I try to re-install it, I get another error message saying taht a director already exists.
I just paid $50 for this - please help me get it up and running.

One or files may have been corrupted. Could you please try deleting the eStore plugin directory, and then download and install a fresh copy of the plugin from this URL...

What is the "it" that is telling you the directory already exists? You may need to contact your hosting provider to figure out why you can't see the directory, if the directory already exists, but you can't delete it.
In the meantime, you can still try downloading a fresh copy of the plugin.
I did download the fresh copy, and tried uploading that - no luck. The "it" is Wordpress itself. When I go to the dashboard and click on plugins, it's not listed in any of the lists (inactive, active, etc.). But when I try to re-upload, Wordpress tells me a directory already exists. Is there a way to delete the plugin directory other than the plugin screen itself?

When you log into your site using a FTP software you will be able to browse to the "plugins" directory and delete the folders that you don't want.
