Updating quantities and deleting an item not working. To get rid of an item one has to empty entire cart.

Hi Scott, this used to happen when you have special character e.g. apostrophe (') in the "Product Name". But this has been fixed a long time ago... what version of the eStore are you using?

Hi. I'm having this same problem with products with apostrophes in the product name. We're using Version: v2.6.9.1 with the latest wordpress. Do I need to upgrade (and if so how) or is this something else. Thanks.

I'm having the apostrophes issue also. I just purchased eStore and downloaded Version v2.8.9 and using the latest WordPress. DO I need an update also?

Nope you don't need an update. On some servers the apostrophe still causes issue for some strange reason... I will need to take a look at your server. I will send an email to you.

Hi,
I am using V5.1.7 and all is going ok until I try to remove a single item from the cart.
It deletes all the items and says that the cart is empty.
This also occurs if you want to change the quantity.
Everything works great. I have read above and all my product names appear ok.

You are using an automatic discount which gives the customer a discount when they have two items in the cart. eStore has a check to make sure people don't add items in the cart to get a discount then remove the item. Can you see how this can be used as in exploit if not guarded properly? When eStore detects this it will empty the whole cart to prevent users from scamming the system. Bottom line, your customers are not allowed to remove items from the cart after they apply a discount.
