I have a WordPress site that is setup on WP 3.0 Networks. My main site is mydomain.com, but I want to have my affiliate program at affiliates.mydomain.com.

However, I just realized that my affiliates links are going to be sending people to affiliates.mydomain.com and not mydomian.com. This is a problem...

Is there a way that I can have the affiliate plugin set up like I have it and (network site) and change it so the affiliate link and tracking is correct?

    Thanks
    Chirs

It's not a standard setup but it should be doable. Give it a try and see how it goes.

"I just realized that my affiliates links are going to be sending people to affiliates.mydomain.com and not mydomian.com." - Not true. The affiliate links will show up however you configure the target URLs to be when you create the text links or banners.

The main concern is the commission awarding after the payment. Are you using eStore for your product sales? If you are then will eStore be installed on the main domain?

    Similar question here...

We have three sites and would like to open affiliate programs for all three together (same market).

Each site in the WP network would have its own domain (through a plugin): Will your affiliate plugin track sales across three sites and report (for admin and for affiliates) where each sale was made?

    Thanks

Which site will handle the sales? (all of them?). What are you using to handle the sales?

    Each site on a sub-domain or a sub-directory?

Ideally, it would look like this:

companysite.com is the main corporate site, and http://www.productA.com, and http://www.productB.com would be two individual product sites. All three would be on the same WP Network.

The goal is to let affiliates sign up once (preferably through companysite.com) and be able to sell both products by sending traffic directly to each individual product site (www.productA.com or http://www.productB.com).

Since the products are related and will attract the same affilates, we'd rather not make them sign up twice, and have to manage it from our end through two admin areas.

Using s2Member to handle sales at this point (Client needs support for PayPal Website Payments Pro)

The domains are completely different so it will be a bit hard to do but it's possible with some tweaks. If the Multi Site option was used in the same domain (for example sub-domains for each product) then it would have been a bit easier.

I have a similar question and my affiliate center is set up on a subdomain.

    - eStore is on a WP blog install at domain.com

    - affiliate center is on a WP blog install at - domain.com/affiliates

    - Please share any tips, links to specific training, etc as I'd love to get this up and running.

I've tried MANY affiliate programs and they are either cost prohibitive, they are "lame", or they offer no support. From what I've seen so far, you offer incredible support, a slick and powerful product and the price is right.

I got eStore up and running and am THRILLED to pieces.
Now I want to integrate the affiliate program.

    Looking forward to your support.
    Appreciatively,

It doesn't look like you have installed it on a sub-domain. The following URL looks more like a sub-directory approach to me:

    domain.com/affiliates

Do you have another wordpress install in the "affiliates" directory?

    Are you using WordPress MultiSite?

Whoops, yes, sub directory, not sub-domain.

    As listed above:

    - eStore is on a WP blog install at domain.com
    - affiliate center is on a WP blog install at - domain.com/affiliates

HOWEVER, I figured out that I can have
estore and the affiliate center on the MAIN domain just fine.

Is there any reason to have it in a separate directory?

It seems to be running fine from the Main domain HOWEVER....

I was having a LOT of problems with getting the estore to deliver an
email confirmation and link to aweber HOWEVER, due to your excellent
documentation and forum, I was able to figure it out as a configuration
    error in PayPal.

I tested the order process and it worked PERFECTLY
UNTIL I tried to purchase via an affiliate link that I set up.

NOW the emails are still going through WITH The product download
code in the EMAIL but when I land on the Thank you Page, the
product download code is no LONGER showing up. - It was before
    I added the affiliate plugin.

The affiliate DID get credited for the sale BUT when I
place the order, the download link is no longer showing up
on the thank you page. I did NOT change anything there.

Do I need to click something to get the affiliate plugin and estore
    plugin to "connect"?

    MUCH thanks,
    D'vorah
