I have developed a site for a client using WP eStore 5.2.8. I thought everything was perfect until she tested and told me the shopping cart would not pop up; when she clicked the Add to Cart button the page refreshed but did not go to the bottom of the page, and no shopping cart appeared. I was able to duplicate this in a different browser, and on a hunch, logged into my admin account and attempted it again and it worked. In fact, after I logged in and the shopping cart appeared, it showed the item I had just added AS WELL AS the item I had added before I logged in, when the shopping cart was not visible.

As we don't require site visitors to subscribe to the site or be logged in, in order to buy, how do I change this behavior? In the admin area, commenting is configured not to require someone to be logged in to comment. In wp general settings, we also have the "allow anyone to subscribe" box unchecked, if these affect anything.

I look forward to your solution!

Sounds like a caching issue to me. Do you have a caching plugin installed on this site?

Yes Amin, W3 Total Cache. Sorry for the long delay in response; is there any way to configure this forum to send me an email when a thread is updated?
