@Jacob, I believe the following post explains what you are looking for: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/?p=262
You can sell bundles that are not zipped together.
#2 by Jacob on May 15, 2012 - 3:46 pm
This looks great, just one question:
Is it possible to sell a bundle of files as one item, without having to .zip or .rar them together? – I’m thinking perhaps it is possible to send out several download links in one mail to the customer, even if he/she just purchased one item?
#3 by Ivy on April 20, 2012 - 12:02 am
@R You can choose to receive an email when a purchase happens. You can also set the information you want included in this email by using email tags.
You can see all the email tags here: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/?p=460

Will I receive an email when an item is purchased or do I have to log in to view purchases?

@Ravinder, Yes, you can use GBP. Basically, you will be able to use any currency that your payment gateway (example, PayPal) supports.
#6 by Ravinder on April 11, 2012 - 5:02 pm
I am based in the UK and would like to charge for my products in GBP. Is this possible using this estore plug in? or does everything have to be in dollars?
#7 by admin on March 31, 2012 - 7:32 pm
@Tejas, I am not sure what you mean by “one page per email-id” but I am guessing you mean the issue with the after payment redirection page limit per account. If that is what you mean then you don’t have to worry about it with eStore as it can dynamically set the after payment redirection page on a per transaction basis. So if you are selling products from site “A” with eStore your customers will go to a page on site “A” after payment. If you are selling some different products from site “B” with eStore with the same PayPal account, the customers will go to a page on site “B” after the payment. eStore can take care of that. You can also handle this scenario using PayPal child business accounts. PayPal lets you create child business accounts which is liked to your main account. You can have a child business account for each of your other webpage/business and process payment separately.

Hello
I have a peculiar question.
You are selling products here, thru paypal. Suppose you had another site, selling different products. Would you include those products on your paypal page or get another page (say using your partner’s email-id)? (because paypal allows only one page per email-id)
I have seen a friend using your estore plugin, wherein a business-related code is put, so that the purchaser lands directly on that page. Paypal’s replies are foolish, hence this question to you.
Could you please help me on this?

@AJ. Thanks for the comments on our videos I (Ivy) make all of our feature videos using Adobe After Effects. =) The Affiliate Platform (our plugin) and the Affiliate Pro are 2 different types of Affiliate plugins.
Type 1 (Affiliate Platform) allows you to run an Affiliate program from your site (You give content like ads too Affiliates to promote products you are selling on your site). < Person running the affiliate program.
Type 2 (Affiliates Pro) allows you to turn your site into a Affiliate marketing site this manages your links (these are usually someone else products the opposite of type 1). < Person promoting affiliate products.
In this case these 2 plugins are not comparable as they do different things. =) We also have a plugin called the Affiliate Link Manager that is like the Affiliates Pro Plugin: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wp-affiliate-link-manager/
#10 by AJ on March 22, 2012 - 2:55 pm
That is the coolest short product video I have ever seen. What software or company did you use to make that?
The estore and affiliate platform look like a perfect fit for me. How does your affiliate platform compare to WordPress Affiliate Pro. Your documentation looks a lot more professional.

@Bo, The following link will explain how shipping works with the eStore: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/?p=50
The eStore was designed mainly for digital/non-physical items. However there are simple shipping options for physical items.

Hi there,
The plugin looks very straightforward and elegant. However, I can’t see how postage and packaging costs are added to the cost of any item you have added to your Shopping Cart. Could you clarify please?
All-round excellent site too, by the way!
Many thanks,

Hi Guys, I just wanted to take the time to tell you how impressed I am with your eStore plugin. As a web developer, I’ve been looking for a good cart solution that’s not only easy to implement, but easy enough for my clients to use. Your plugin is customizable with lots of configurable options for discounts and coupons yet sufficiently simple for those who don’t need that stuff.
I also run an online piano teaching business on the side selling digital products and I’ve used eStore on that site as a test case before implementing it on my clients’ sites. I must say.. the eStore Stats page must now be my most frequently visited page! The pie chart and line graphs are an excellent feature and helps me track my best selling products and sales each day.
Because my digitial products are large, I set up an Amazon S3 account and the instructions you provided to connect eStore to S3 were so simple to follow. From having no store to having a professional solution that accepted payments and issued expiring download links to my customers took me about 3 hours to set up – possibly less if I wasn’t so fussy about moving things around by 1px here and there.
All up, this is a brilliant plugin and the couple hundred dollars I earned on my website in its first week would not have been possible without you guys. Well done, and I encourage everybody to buy this plugin!
#15 by Ivy on March 8, 2012 - 2:51 am
@DesignGirl. Yes there is an external CSS file that you can make all your changes to. This way when you update the plugin you do not lose these modifications.
#16 by DesignGirl on March 8, 2012 - 2:46 am
I have read a lot about this plugin in reviews and on your site. Great documentation. However I have one questions. I do a lot of customization for my clients are these easy to do and maintain when updating the eStore?
#17 by Ivy on February 25, 2012 - 8:59 pm
@Ervin, All of this information is automatically collected from PayPal or the payment gateway you are using. This way this information is verified and your customer does not have to do the extra steps of filling in the information (this leads to less cart abandonment).
#18 by Ervin on February 25, 2012 - 2:47 pm
Hi!
As the local tax authorities require it, I’d like to collect billing information (Name and Address of the customer) when I sell something with my eStore.
It works great if I use the manual gateway, but couldn’t find anything like this if I’d liked to use PayPal gateway.
I’d like a form like this:
[Items in Cart]
Customer name: …
Customer address: …
Cutomer email: …
[PayPal purchase button]
Is it possible with eStore?
Thanks!

@Ibnea, Our plugins only work on WordPress.org sites.
#20 by ibnea on February 18, 2012 - 2:44 am
Will this plugin work in a wordpress.com site or only wordpress.org?
#21 by Ivy on February 14, 2012 - 9:02 pm
@Bruce,
1. Recurring subscription support is available with the eStore: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/?p=400
2. Content protection would come from the eMember, this will allow you to protect content for members only. http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/
3. You can set the time of the membership in the eStore it can be from 1 day to as long as you would like.
4. You would need the eStore and eMember to do this. eStore to process the payments and eMember to manage the protected content.

Our site will offer monthly paid subscriptions to weekly video training. We want automated ordering and payment and automated (subscription only) access with limited time availability.
Does your product do this?
If so, which one specifically?
Thanks

@Marie, The eStore has the option to integrate with Google Checkout through the Extra Payment Gateways Bundle (http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wp-payment-gateway-bundle-plugin).
This is an add on for the eStore. You can read about it using the link in this comment.
#28 by Marie on February 2, 2012 - 6:39 pm
I’ve been using your plugin for a while very successfully with Paypal. But I want to move to Google Checkout for my payment processing. Any plans for integration with Google?
#29 by Ivy on January 29, 2012 - 2:49 am
@Heather, The eStore has the following variation options: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/?p=345. You can have up to 4 variation options. Each one of these variations can have as many options as you want.

@Mike, You would need to use a subscription button. You can read about this here: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/?p=400

How can I setup a cart that supports automatic re-orders? For example, how do I allow a customer to have a box of energy bars delivered each month and automatically billed each month?
