WP Affiliate Link Manager Minimum Requirements
The WP Affiliate link manager plugin do not require any special requirement other than a recent version of WordPress but following are some more indepth details:
- PHP 4.5 or later
- MySQL 4.0 or later
- Have the SEO friendly/pretty permalinks enabled from the “Settings” menu of WordPress (the default permalink will work too but the cloaked URLs do not look very pretty when used with default ugly permalinks)

By default WordPress uses dynamic URL Structure which looks a bit robotic because it is not user friendly at all let alone not being SEO friendly. The following is an example of what a default WordPress URL structure looks like

The goal of making the URL structure more friendly is that your users should know before reading the article what it is about by just looking at the URL. The same goal is to be accomplished for Search Engines as well. SEO friendly URL should look like something similar to the following:

How to Use SEO Friendly URL?
You can specify your URL structure from the Permalink Option Page which you can find in your WordPress Admin Panel if you click on the “Settings” Tabs and then go to “Permalinks”. There are many tutorials online that will help you step by step as to how to do this if you need more help with this.
