Installation<\/h2>\n

You can install this addon the same way you install any WordPress plugin:<\/p>\n

  • Go to the “Add New” plugins screen in your WordPress admin area<\/li>\n
  • Click the “upload” tab<\/li>\n
  • Browse for the addon file (eStore-bitpay-gateway-addon.zip)<\/li>\n
  • Click “Install Now” and then activate the plugin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Using Bitpay Payment Gateway Addon<\/h2>\n

    Once you install addon\u00c2\u00a0you will need to configure some Bitpay specific settings.\u00c2\u00a0You can find the settings page under the eStore bitpay<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0menu of WP eStore plugin. The following screenshot shows how you can access the settings page of this addon:<\/p>\n

    In order to complete the settings simply follow the steps outlined below:<\/p>\n

    Step 1:<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0Enable “bitpay” from the settings section of the addon.<\/p>\n

    Step 2:<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0Enter the API key for your bitpay merchant account.<\/p>\n

    Step 3:\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>Select the speed at which your bitcoin transaction will register as confirmed.<\/p>\n

    • Low:\u00c2\u00a0An invoice is considered to be “confirmed” after 6 block confirmations (~1 hour)<\/li>\n
    • Medium:\u00c2\u00a0An invoice is considered to be “confirmed” after 1 block confirmation (~10 minutes)<\/li>\n
    • High:\u00c2\u00a0An invoice is considered to be “confirmed” immediately upon receipt of payment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Step 4:\u00c2\u00a0<\/strong>Enter your preferred checkout text for bitpay (example: bitpay). This text will be used in the eStore shopping cart gateway selection drop down menu if you are using multiple payment gateway options.<\/p>\n

      Step 5:<\/strong> Enter a title for the order information page. This page will be used to collect order information from your users.<\/p>\n
