Hello - When I provide a coupon that results in a shopping cart total of $0 (zero dollars), the coupon redemption count does not change after the coupon has been used, the manual checkout form submitted and the product has been downloaded. The coupon system redemption count works with the exact same coupon if the cart amount is $0.01 or any other dollar amount above $0. What changes do I need to make to WP eStore to make the redemption limit field register coupon usage when the amount is $0 (zero dollars)? Thank you

Do you have the following checkbox checked in the manual checkout settings?

Automatically Update Customer & Products Database

When a transaction is processed via manual checkout, it won't mark a transaction as paid unless you tell it to. The following post is a good read to understand the different ways to use the manual checkout option:

Thank you Key Master! Checking "Automatically Update Customer & Products Database" fixed the situation - the redemption count now registers products that were free due to a coupon.

    BTW, I did previously read:

but it specifically says that button should *not* be checked. Maybe Tips&Tricks could add a sentence to the effect of "this button should be checked for manual shopping cart checkouts where the balance is $0" ? Thanks again, Steve

It should not be checked (unless you know what you are doing). With manual checkout you will get people who will complete the checkout form and then never pay you. So you necessarily don't want to add them as customers and do all the post payment processing stuff (when they haven't even paid).

Everyone will have completely different situation when it comes to manual checkout. So you need to assess your particular project's requirement then set it up in a way that works for you.
