Hello
I have been watching the videos for eMember and eStore (I have both of them) and still I am confused how to setup what I wanted to achieve.
Here is the setup:
1. I want to have two or more types of membership. One is Free and the other is Paid Subscription.
2. I want to capture email address and put them in an autoresponder (Aweber) sequence in exchange for giving the Free membership. The same thing for the paid membership, I wanted to capture email and put them in a different email sequence.
3. For paid subscription membership, I wanted the training program content to be drip-feed so that they don’t access and download the entire program as soon as they got the access.
4. The subscription plan will be billed every month until they cancelled.
5. Another scenario is after 6 months of continued membership they will get upgraded to a lifetime access.
Questions based on what I have learned so far:
1. I can create different membership levels. Based on my understanding, if I create, say Free and Premium memberships and then assign these levels to the post/page where the training content is published, how can I create the drip-feed scenario for the Premium Level?
2. Since my Premium Content will be drip-feed every 7 days and will have a total of 42 occurence, does this mean I have to create 42 Levels for the Premium Content?
3. If I am correct in point 3, then how should I sell the paid membership? Since there are 42 Levels, which one I should sell? how should I structure thisin such a way that as long as they are a paid membership, they will keep on getting the next lessons until they decided to cancel.
Thank you.
March 17, 2018 at 5:25 am #77528adminKeymasterWe handle drip feed using our auto-upgrade feature:
All you need to know is which level the member needs to start at and then they will go through the process as long as they stay subscribed.
So you create your 42 levels and setup the auto upgrade schedule. Then you sell the membership to the 1st level of that sequence.
Use a subscription payment button. Set the membership duration to “No Expiry or Until Cancelled”. That way, the member will stay a member and keep getting upgraded to the next level (as long as they don’t cancel the subscription payment). If they cancel the subscription payment, their account gets deactivated.
