When a member logs in they receive a “You do not have permission to view this content.” message. I have double checked the permissions and they are the right membership level and an active member. What is happening?
Are they logging in using the WordPress or the eMember login form?
If they are logging in using any of the eMember login forms or widgets; there should be no issues.
If they are logging in using the WordPress login form, they must also log into eMember as well. Alternatively, if it is an operational requirement that they also be logged into WordPress; you can configure eMember to automagically log WordPress users into their corresponding eMember accounts:
WP eMember –> Settings –> General Settings –> WordPress User Integration Settings
The following checklist is a good one to go through for this:
It is using the eMember login form. I made sure to check all of the member level settings and the permissions on the page but anyone of the level that is set isn unable to see the content.
Are you using any kind of page caching plugins?
