The WP Affiliate plugin can be easily integrated with the WishList Members plugin.
What can you expect from this integration?
The following points show the usual flow of events that you can expect when you use the affiliate plugin with WishList Members plugin on your site:
- An affiliate sends a visitor to your site/landing page that is running the WishList Member plugin (The affiliate plugin detects this referral and tracks the click)
- The visitor decides to signup for your membrship so he/she clicks on the “Buy” button and makes a payment for the membership.
- WishList Member plugin notifies the affiliate plugin after the payment is confirmed.
- The affiliate plugin checks if the sale was referred by an affiliate and awards appropriate commission to the referrer.
WishList Members Plugin and Affiliate Plugin Integration Steps
There are two ways you can go about integrating the affiliate plugin with WishList Members plugin
Option 1) Directly Using a PayPal Button for Membership Payment
Edit your PayPal button that you have created for your WishList member plugin’s membership signup payment and add the following line of code in the button code:
[wp_aff_custom_input]

When you add the above mentioned affiliate tracking code in this button, it should look like the following:
Option 2) Using WP eStore with WishList Members
If you are using WP eStore plugin to create membership payment button then you don’t need to do anything special since eStore and the affiliate plugin work together already.
Just make sure you have followed the eStore and WishList Members integration documentation and the membership payment via eStore and membership registration part is working correctly:
