If there a way to send a different e-mail depending if the item is a purchase (e.g. particular download) or subscription. Currently, I send a "thank you for purchase" message (configured in eStore email settings) but I'd rather send a "thank for for continued subscription" email (or no email at all) for a recurring subscription. If not, is there only the one generic email which has to cover both?
Thanks,
Gary

eStore does not send any email for a recurring payment. For a subscription payment the customer will receive an email the first time he makes the payment (just like a buy now transaction). For subsequent charges he will be notified via PayPal automatically (there is no action to take from eStore so it won't send any further email)

I am using WP emember, affiliate and estore....great software btw! I ran across a post in the forum that I can no longer find... after hours of searching on 2 different days it is just quicker for me to ask, even if it has already been answered.
The "thank you for your subscription" email is showing from Wordpress. I have checked the settings in Wordpress and in each of the WP plugins to make sure the from field has not been left blank. To no avail, this is the only email that continues to say from Wordpress.
Can you please point me in the right direction?
Thanks so much!Posted 3 months ago # -
Which plugin is this email coming from (eStore, eMember or the affiliate plugin)? The content of the email will give you an idea as to where you configured that message (if you are not sure).

It is the "Thank you for your Subscription" http://screencast.com/t/kftVv8UCC
so I believe it is coming from the eStore

Hi,
The email you're referring to is definitely coming from eStore.Look in the eStore settings page and go to the "Email Settings" section.
The first part will contain the configuration for the email you're referring to.
Carefully double-check the "From" field. You should have an entry which looks something like:
XXXX<youremailaddress>
I suspect that you might have "Wordpress" for the "XXXX" value.
