Hi!
PayPal Guest Checkout is not available when one clicks on a Buy Now button: [http://onetribecounseling.com/test-7/] Guest checkout is however available on the same PayPal account – for example when using PayPal’s own button: [http://prntscr.com/ffllu8]
I am running the latest versions of WP and eStore.
Thank you!
Is this merchant account a paypal premier or paypal business account?
It looks like a paypal personal account to me. PayPal doesn’t offer the guest checkout for personal account when you need to use anything other than a paypal hosted button.
Also, the paypal account in your screenshot is not for the same email address. If you look at the top of the paypal checkout page, you will see that one has a name of “One …..” the other has the email address [dan.litvinov555@gmail.com]. PayPal shows the email address in the checkout page if it is a personal account.
Maybe you specified a different paypal email address in the eStore plugin’s product configuration for this product. Then mistaking it with the paypal email address that you specified in the general settings of the plugin. If you specify a paypal address in the product configuration, then that email will be used for that product’s buy now button.
Thank you for your response!
I only have one PayPal account.
It is a business account – just had it confirmed by PayPal customer service.
I did notice a different email displayed when going through the eStore plugin. I use a different email on PayPal by the way. The email displayed is the one associated with my WP account.
Thank you!
Please use the main email address of your paypal account. The paypal button you create would be using that email.
PayPal treats the main email of the account and alias emails slightly differently.
It worked! Thank you.
