Hello,

I'm scratching my head on something with eMember. Can you help me understand the process ?

I have 3 membership levels with 3 different contents.

1 Free and 2 paid membership.

I Have created a specific registration page for each membership level using the command : [wp_eMember_registration_form_for level=13] as found on the forum.

When running tests, it looks like no matter which registration form I use to become a free or paid member, I always get the confirm email concerning the free membership level.

Then when I click the confirmation link, I am constantly redirected to the signin form of the free membeship instead of the desired paid membership.

I must have made a mistake, but I can't see where.

1- Is it possible to have a specific confirm message for each membership level ?
2- Is there a way to redirect the newly registered member to the righ signin form, be it free, level 2 or level3 accordingly ?
3- Is it possible that right after he has filled the registration form the new member (who has just paid at paypal) is forwarded to the content of the membership instead of having to wait for the confirm email. That would save some steps in the process.

You have 3 membership registration pages. But which page URL are you using in the "member registration page URL" field under page settings of WP eMember?

You can specify a separate URL for each membership level where different members will be redirected to after they log in.

The plugin always use one registration form (free or paid). After a payment when your users click on the complete registration link they will be taken to the registration page and the correct membership level will be selected there depending on what they paid for.

You do not need to created separate registration pages (You can if you need but it's not needed).

to answer your question, in the setting, "member registration page URL" was the free membership URL. I understand it is probably the reason why all confirm emails were taking me to this unique url.

I guess you mean in the "redirect after login" erea when setting the membership level. Am I correct ? If not, can you explain ?

If I understand what you wrote, I don't need to create a specific registration page for each membership level.
After paypal payment, the customer will receive an email with a link that will take him straight to the registration page which is on my site (provided the information is correctly set in the settings), and the plugin will automatically select the correct membership level in the form. Is it true even if the initial registration page was set for a free membership ?

Then I need separate registration forms only in the case where for example, I want some customer to register to a paid membership level to which I want to grant free access. Of course, it is just an example, but am I correct ?

Last question,
since I use estore for payments, After paypal payment is done, the customer is redirected to a thank you page which I had already set in the estore setting in the past. Do I need to keep this thank you page active in estore settings ? or does eMember plugin redirects the new member to a specific page after payment. this part is not presented in the videos you asked me to watch.

Yes I mean the "redirect after login" area while setting up the membership level.

Suppose you've two membership levels - free and premium. Now there is no difference between the registration of free membership and premium membership. For free membership anyone will be able to register and access the free content that you've given access to. For premium membership he/she will make a payment and then register following the link sent to the member after the payment (when a member follows the registration completion link the plugin knows the membership level this member paid for and it automatically sets the registration form for that level).

In normal scenerio you should not need more than one registration forms but depending on your membership site's setup you may need it which why the functionality exists. Following is another good example of when you might need multiple registration forms:

You have 3 membership levels and they are all free to join. In this case you can have a different registration form for all the different levels.
