When a customer has purchased recurring membership payment (until cancelled) is there a way to set up an unsubscribe link somewhere on a website so it can allow a them to unsubscribe from the recurring payments and the membership.
In other words is there user friendly way we can provide a member a link so they can stop recurring payment without them having to go into PayPal and navigate their way round to stop the billing cycle and cancel membership access in the process.
If not is there an alternative way (merchant account or whatever) that could solve this?

The user must cancel the subscription, from within their PayPal account. That’s PayPal’s rule for standard PayPal subscription payment:
Thank you for your reply. As member would have been a valued customer, is there a way to trigger an email to thank the customer for their business as they unsubscribe from the membership?
No email, but how about this instead? Link to a “Cancel Subscription page,” on your site, that contains the [wp_eMember_cancel_subscription_link] shortcode. Right before the shortcode, you can place a lengthy and perhaps tearful video; begging them not to go, but that you value their patronage with heartfelt thanks, should they proceed to click the link created by the [wp_eMember_cancel_subscription_link] shortcode.
