Hi:
I have followed all the instructions accurately in setting up Pay Per View for a page on my site. The problem is that though the customer receives an email confirming purchase of the product, the product name is there but there is no encrypted link to allow the customer to click and get to the Pay Per View product.
This is the sequence I have followed:
1. Since I am an Indian seller, I find it tough to check if my process is OK when using Paypal, unless someone from abroad makes a purchase of 1 cent on my site. So instead I set the Manual Checkout Buy Now button on the Pay Per view page with the following code:
`[wp_eStore_buy_now_for_specific_gateway id=”23″ gateway=”manual”]’ where 23 is my Pay Per View product id.
2. Below on the same page I put some content to hide and enclosed it with these codes:
[wp_eStore_APR expiry=0 status=unexpired]
and[/wp_eStore_APR]
.3. I saved the page, got it’s URL and then pasted the URL in the Product page in the Digital Contents Detail section inside the Digital product URL field. I changed the http:// to aprtp:// in the URL.
4. I set up a manual payment order page with the shortcode
[wp_eStore_on_page_manual_gateway_form]
.4. Since I am not allowing expiration of the order by time or count, I have filled the Digital Product Delivery Settings on the plugin General Settings page as 999 for both time and count and there is a random code also there in place. I unchecked the Bitly URL shortener.
5. Since I wanted to check behavior of the plugin using manual checkout, I downloaded and installed the Order Management Addon. I have also additionally downloaded the latest build of eStore and activated that.
6. What happens is this:
a. When I (acting as the customer) click on the BUY NOW manual checkout button, I get taken to a thank you page that tells me to check my email for instructions. So far so good. I also get two emails: One email to seller saying customer has requested manual payment; and another email to customer giving bank details for bank transfer of funds. So far so good again.
b. As the seller I then go to Order Management page and change the status of the order from Manual Co. Unpaid to manual Co. Paid and save.
c. As required the customer’s details then go to my Mailchimp list as I have set that up. That’s also fine so far.
Could you please help me know what to do to get the encryption link to appear in the buyer’s email?
Thanks and regards,
Shobha Ponnappa

February 12, 2017 at 3:20 am #75185AnonymousInactiveThanks, that {product_link} mail tag was missing. Now it’s working beatutifully. But I have one two small issues left:
1. See, after people click on the encrypted link in the email, it then goes to a URL that ultimately shows up the actual URL of the page. If this happens, people may be able to pass on this actual URL to others to watch the video. Is there any way I can ensure that after payment the URL of the page URL is either not shown or encrypted, maybe? The idea is to prevent the actual URL to be passed along to others.
2. The Paypal page that shows up after clicking is Paypal with Indonesian language. Any setting that will make Paypal in English show up?

February 12, 2017 at 1:52 pm #75186wzpModeratorSo, you are selling Pay Per View (PPV) access, instead of downloadable files? Please see these instructions:
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/using-wordpress-permalinks-as-digital-products-apr-1217
They will “see” the page URL, but trying to directly go to it will result in the content being protected. You can verify that, but trying to share the URL with yourself, using a second computer.
