Hi, I am using the eStore plugin with the NextGen gallery and am using the ‘Method 1’ for integrating with NextGen. The eStore plugin was purchased just yesterday (for versioning)
As I am selling limited numbers of each product on my site, I want to display how many items are left for ordering and have tried using the shortcode [wp_eStore_remaining_copies_counter id=5] without luck (yes, the ID has been changed to reflect the correct product id …and yes, a number (15) has been entered in ‘Available Copies’ under ‘Inventory Control’ in the product settings).
As per instructions for using Method 1 with NextGen gallery, I have added the shortcode to the ‘Alt & Title Text/Description’ area in the NextGen gallery, where other info for eStore configuration is added. The remaining numbers are however not displayed when the gallery is displayed.
Question 1:
what is the correct configuration when adding this shortcode?
– is it to be added as a completely separate shortcode? as in:
[wp_eStore_add_to_cart id=5][wp_eStore_remaining_copies_counter id=5]
– or is it to be made into one long shortcode? as in:
[wp_eStore_add_to_cart id=5 wp_eStore_remaining_copies_counter id=5]
….mind you, neither one works.
Question 2.
Is there somewhere else this shortcode needs to be added?
Question 3.
Does this shortcode even work with NextGen gallery integration?
Any and all help will be appreciated.
Thank you
PS. I cannot provide a link to the site as it is still under developing and has only a landing page.

We did try some editing on another computer this morning, so maybe that had some effect? .. but I can’t explain why it’s now working? (we’re not using any caching plugins at this stage).
I refreshed the same page I had on my original computer from last night, and it is also working there.
Thank you.
