Making a packaged/bundled product from a bunch of existing products is very easy.
Step 1: Create a new eStore product that will be your bundled product
Step 2: Write down the product IDs of the existing eStore products that you want to bundle. The product IDs should be separated by commas (,). Example: 1,2,3
Step 3: Enter the product ids from step 2 in the “Digital Product URL” field of the new product that you are creating.
The screenshot below shows how the product ids are entered in the ‘Digital Product URL’ field to bundle multiple products together:
This new product will be a bundled product that includes product 1, product 2 and product 3. So when someone purchase this item he/she will receive three download links (one for product 1, one for product 2 and one for product 3).

Hi Ken, Yes you can do this. All you need to do is configure your book with the PDF link in the “Digital Product URL” of the “Digital Content Section” and make sure the “Stamp PDF” option is checked.
Example:
Product Name: Your Physical Book Name
Price: $25.00
Digital Content Section
Digital Product URL: URL of the PDF version of the book unzipped. This needs to be a PDF file for the stamper to stamp the file.
Stamp PDF Checkbox: Checked.
Please make sure to do a live transaction to test that everything is working well. The best way to do this is make the product .01 and run a transaction. Note you will need 2 PayPal accounts to do this as PayPal does not allow you to be both the buyer and seller
I would like to bundle a pdf with a physical book order, buy the book and get the pdf free. Can I have the system do this?
Hi Brent, Can you tell me what type of hosting you are on (e.g. shared, VPN etc)? If you create a bundle package with all 22 chapters the buyer would get 22 links in there email. Here are a few options you can use:
1.) Depending on your hosting you can make one zipped file with all the files together and have one link for the 80mb download.
2.) You can make a bundle package with one zip file for each chapter and the customer would get 22 links to download
3.) You can make zip filed with say 3 or 4 chapters per zip then making a bundle package this way the customer would get 3-5 links depending on how many chapters you zip per file.
Cheers,
Ivy
Thanks – I think the best way is to zip the whole lot and make it available as a download. I host with GoDaddy, so will establish whether my hosting plan permits me to have the downloads. Appreciate the comment.
The book, by the way is:

Thanks for replying with the options.

Hi,
I’m looking to sell an Audiobook comprising 22 chapters. My thinking is to sell individual chapters in MP3 and MP4 format (for playing on an iPod/iPhone/iPad).
Since the duration of the Audiobook is 3.5hrs, and a single file of the entire book would be around 80MB, if I do sell the audio files as standalone chapters and create a ‘bundle’ being all 22 chapters, would the buyer receive a single email with the embedded 22 URL’s to download each chapter?
What would be the best approach to make the process of downloading the book a smooth process for a buyer?
Would appreciate your views on how best to go about this?
Thks, Brenton
Hi Anji, Can you please tell me what version of the eStore plugin you are using? This option can be found under the “Add/Edit” product menu under the option “Digital Content Details “.
Let me know how it goes.
Cheers,
Ivy
Can you let me know if it is still possible to configure bundled packages? I do not see the setting in my admin panel that I am supposed to put the item IDs separated by commas. All I have is product name and product price, no product field. So far this is working great, other than the bundle issue. Thank you!
You can bundle any product. A bundled product is just another product which is a collection of other products so all you are doing is creating another product and calling it a bundled product.
@Kelvin, I do not put any limit on the number of files that can be bundled in an individual product.
Does bundling only work for digital products? Can it be done for “real” products as well? And can I specify a special bundled price (i.e. the plugin doesn’t automatically add the price of the bundled products, does it?)?
Hi Esteve,
Is there any limit on the number of electronic files that can be bundled in an individual sale product?
I have been using another well known product (not a WP plugin) that required me to edit the structure of a MySQL table before I could bundle all of the files in one of my products.
Thanks
Kelvin
@Esteve, yep absolutely.
Hi Esteve, I have recently added Multi-file download option so haven’t got the chance to make them compatible with packaged products.
Ok, thank you very much, one step at a time. Just to clarify, if all the products are composed by one file each, should that work?
Thanks again, great products (affliate + eStore).
Hi, I do not know if this it’s been answered before because there was a question almost related. If we create a bundle of 3 products, all of them being digital products, and 2 of them being multi-file-download, this will create a correct bundle to download all the files?
Thanks,
Esteve.
